Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

During the month of March, we join in the commemoration of Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a global initiative dedicated to informing and raising awareness of the importance of prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

At OPGE, we reaffirm our commitment to digestive health and the dissemination of information to prevent colorectal cancer. We emphasize the importance of leading a healthy life, having medical check-ups and knowing the risk factors.

Colorectal cancer is common, but preventable and treatable if detected early. We urge the community to take care of their health and perform exams such as colonoscopy, especially in people over 50 years old or with a family history.

We invite everyone to join this cause, spreading the message and promoting the importance of prevention as a fundamental tool to save lives.

At OPGE, we believe that an informed community can make a difference against colorectal cancer.

Commemoration of the Day of Women and Girls in Science

Today, February 11th, we join in the commemoration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a date proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 to recognize the essential role played by women and girls in science and technology.

At OPGE, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting gender equality in science. We celebrate the valuable contributions of women in research and innovation, and encourage girls and young women to explore and develop their potential in scientific disciplines.
